caddies

why do the caddies all where boiler suits,? why not where the same as there player has to wear its more for there sponser

I think it's upto the tournament directors.

If they say you have to wear a boiler suit, then you wear a boiler suit!

I think with Augusta they still almost have an OCD about the look of the thing... they love a heirarchy as well. Members wear Green Jackets, Patrons just golf gear, caddies, overalls as befitting a worker?

historical, they just always have and back in the 80s the Pros had to use a caddy that worked at the club rather than their own

Was quite something seeing all the same brollys on Sunday as well. So very tight on advertising. Makes you wonder if they'll go as far as generic bags as per the Ryder Cup

Do they have a dress code for spectators too. I tried to check as much as possible and I didn't see a single person in jeans.
