active groups?

Every time I search for groups in my area none of them seem to be active can anyone tell me why this is happening

Hi Matt, I'm going to have a purge of some of the old accounts soon.
Golfshake via Golfscoretracker as well as been going for 12+ years and we have over 100,000 registered accounts so there are a fair few that will not be active any more.
