Rules rewrite

I hear a major rewrite is being worked on due for 2020. Biggest change since 1984.

Lets hope they can simplify things a bit and maybe they can even apply some common sense here and there? (no chance).

Common sense and golf do not normally go together when rules are concerned IMO

2020!!! Takes them 7yrs to get together and decide lol, nearly as pro active as FIFA!!

The Committee have no authority to change a Rule of golf. Playing a provisional (in any circumstances) is not mandatory under the Rules. Playing a provisional if it is known or virtually certain that the ball is in any type of water hazard is spercifically aginst the Rules.
