Handicap calculation

This might be me just being a bit dim, but does the system automatically adjust your handicap up or down for you?

I have not been playing long but have been starting to reduce my scores and expected that this would have some effect on my handicap which remains at 28?

You're still scoring out side the 28 handicap. Keep going though, you'll soon see it dropping.

Its ok Dave, mines going up enough for both of us.

Pleased to say that mine has finally dropped. Only need to play around 80 rounds at net over par to get it back up to 28 before the next NvS comp.
