Any News on the R1 driver? Has anyone heard anything about it?

My pro has just come back from a TaylorMade custom fit course aimed at the R1. I asked him if it consisted of "This is the wrench and this is how to use it" and he called me a couple of choice names! He has been very positive about it to the point of replacing his Ping driver with one

Apparently the "1" in R1 is because (marketing spiel warning) the one driver will be suitable from beginner to low handicap as you can adjust it as your game changes. Obviously this will mean TaylorMade will never release another driver then.....

Too many gizmo's - which is bad news for me as I like to tinker!!

I have an R7 Superquad - 4 moveable weights which is more than enough for me.

And as Mike says "am I am going to find out for 320?" - answer no (R7 set me back 60)
