The Open Golf Club for NW amateurs

Has anyone seen The Open Golf Club operating in the NorthWest? Weekly comps on a green fee without the need for a congu handicap. Looks like a good option to play in some regular comps on different courses. Some of my friends played some events last year and enjoyed it. They're having a go at the order of merit events this season. Thinking I might join them.
