advice on winter footwear
hi all I'm looking at investing in some new winter golf shoes but not sure what to go for. I have some Nike for the summer, there like walking around in my slippers in the summer months but when the ground gets bit wet so do my feet!!!!!! I'm looking at about 50-100 for new shoes but want to know if there are some to look out for or avoid..... Alan

For me, it's a pair of Footjoy AQL's. I've lost count of how many pairs I've owned over the years but I've always found they do a great job of keeping the water out.
I just got a new pair for 69.99 but if you shop about and aren't too fussy about colour you can get them for a lot less.

I purchased a pair of Nike Heritage shoes a month or two back. They are quite lightweight and very comfortable. Their waterproof qualities have been thoroughly tested in recent weeks by both rain and early morning dew. I dry and polish/dubbin them asap after each round and they haven't let me down so far, Good luck with your search.

I've invested in a pair of Stubert golf boots for the winter months. Very good and at 40 a pair they were well worth the money.
Not sure how much they are now but I don't even notice I'm wearing boots when playing golf. The only difference now is that when I finish a round, no matter how wet the golf course is I have dry feet (now the bottom of my trousers are a different story!)
