Shoe Care

Posted by: user465035 | Mon 22nd Oct 2012 15:13 | Last Reply

Recently bought a pair of Footjoy Icons and after a very few rounds noticed that the leather was marking up. When I returned to my pro the first thing he asked was had I used Dubbin - I had. He said this was the problem but replaced the shoes anyway.

I had used dubbin on my Dryjoys for ever with no problems - they lasted me years.

I'm now a little concerned to use Dubbin. Anyone got any thoughts?

I have a pair of Nike shoes and use both polish and dubbin on them. There is no way I will not use dubbin and can't think of a reason not to. These recent damp misty early mornings have put my shoes to an extreme test and they (with dubbin) have come up trumps.
