Why do so many people love Vokey wedges?
Hello everyone I'm an Hp 29 and i've just bought a new set of irons (Mizuno MX-100 To Burner XD) and now i found myself without a sandwedge. I've thinking about buying a new sandwedge for a long time and now i've got the reason. My last sand was a titleist-2009-vokey-spin-milled-black-nickel-wedges perimethral. I was looking for something "thin" to across better behind the ball. My teacher said my last sandwedge was ok but when we played together i didn't want to use mine but used a blade Titleist from a friend of mine saying mine sucks. I am very interested in looking at the new Cobra Trusty Rusty. A tri- bounce for when you open the face and grip is tapered for when you choke down....sounds interesting .

Wedges are all about the feel, if you try them and they work and give you confidence then they are doing their job. I know plenty of people who love their Titleist Vokey wedges, personally I prefer Cleveland and have used a couple of different ones, but at the moment have CG15's for the three wedge lofts I carry. Find the ones you like and don't worry about what other people say about it.

I love my vokeys. I inherited them from my husband about 4 months ago and they have transformed my short game. I'm so much more confident around the green and even bunkers. I can't compare them with any other wedges as these are the only specialist wedges I have ever used. I love the control they give me to really get it up by the pin. I can get it up there and stop it with a few feet of it landing or with a slightly different trajectory I can get it to release and roll further. Now if I could only get my aim right..... Love em.

I have never owned any specialist wedges, just used the ones that came with the set.
