Advanced Stats Help

Posted by: user22898 | Sat 8th Sep 2007 09:51 | Last Reply

Hi,

Can anyone explain some of the advanced stats please, as looking at the scores, the figures being returned baffle me!

Net Par Run:  On the back 9 of my last round, my net scores were 3 net pars followed by 3 net birdies, 2 more net pars then the 18 was a net birdie also. The whole back 9 was 5 holes at net par and 4 below net par.  The advanced stats showed 'Net Par Run = 7'.  I also scored 3 net pars and 2 net birdies on the front 9; though any run would have started at hole 10 as I net bogied hole 9.

Net Bogey + Run: What does this tell me?  It gave me a number of 2, but I don't have a clue whether this is good or bad (or how it is even calculated).

Bounceback - Play like a Pro:  I am presuming how many good holes you score after a bad one.  I received a score of 4 for both Bounceback and Head Drop.  Both of which I don't know how is calculated or whether it is good and looking at my scorecard, I get no help there.

Can someone tell me how to calculate these (or make sense of them)?

Keith can you copy and past your round scorecard so I can see and advise.

Net Par Run:

Should be the longest continuous run of nett par or better.

Net Bogey + Run:

Should be the longest continuous run of nett bogey or worse.

Bounceback - Play like a Pro:

Bounceback is basically how often do you score a bogey or worse but then follow up with par or better. This was a request from a user, the headdrop part is just the converse.

See my last round below, the net par run is based on holes 3 and 4 and the bogey run is 15,16,17,18
