Driver disaster

Whilst playing the 9th hole the other day i pulled out my driver for a 200 yard carry into a tight fairway.I started my familiar routine took the club away nicely when disaster befell me.At the top i started down when,you guessed it,the shaft let go in a big way.Playing Titleist woods i proceeded to order what i thought was the right shaft only to find out that i'd ordered a aldila vs proto by you stiff with a .350 tip. What i needed was a .335 tip. Since my 3&5 wood and indeed my hybrid all have the aldila shaft, i want to keep them. Does anyone have a decent head for this shaft and if not could i make the .350 tip fit my old 907 d2 Regards all Nick
