Hi everyone...as a newcomer to golf, i was wondering if i did the right thing by buying a box of Dunlop LOco balls (at a large discount price). I havn't used them yet , but if anyone has can they tell me if they are ok ? At present i'm trying to find the right ball for my game...i usually use various maxfli balls.  cheers....j

John,

I expect you got yours for something silly like £7.24 for 36 from Sports World.  Great ball for a new player.

When I first started playing, the pro giving me my lessons recommended using Dunlop LoCo's.  He believed they were an excellent ball for the price and spot on for a beginner.  And he sold me them at £10 for a dozen.

There was a Golfshake event in April 2008 when the North captained by Wayne beat the South (again).

Now at this event we all receive a free dunlop loco ball....

If it good enough for the shake....
