Everyone loves a tip find...
I have a customer who works at the local recycling place (tip). Popped in to see him today and whilst he was squashing skips I had a mooch round the for sale bit.
Spotted a set of Spalding Top flight blades :D
Now thay need a bloody good recondition and a regrip but they will help me with getting my ball striking right.
And yes ok they aren't forged Japanese heads but they were free!

Matt, those certainly look a little ancient and I would say they were a fifties model. I had a set of Spalding irons myself, they were Spalding Executives. Giod luck with them, but don't despair when they misbehave.
I am with Leyo on the grips, lamkin tour wrap for me.

Darren , If you can hit them well on the range they'll be even easier on the grass mate.
