Season objective #1 complete!!

Posted by: user338942 | Wed 28th Mar 2012 13:44 | Last Reply

Season objectives this year were to break 80 and drop to 11 hcp - just in from shooting my first 79 and I'm over the moon!!!

The lesson I had last month has certainly with that.   Anyone looking to new clubs for game improvement - try putting that money into some coaching first, it'll do your game a world of good!

Well done Dave you beat me to it. Have you had a week off to play that course? Im hoping to follow you in the coming season.

What 1 thing if any did the lessons teach you that you didnt know before or was it just getting you more consistant?

Dave CAC handed Geordie.

Thanks fellas.

Its my home course Dave, so know it like the back of my hand and still working 4-midnight shifts so can get out pretty much as and when i want.

The lesson just ironed out some kinks really. Got my alignment sorted which apparently was all over the shop, reset my grip and made me aware of an over active left side. Taking those things away for the lesson took 3/4 weeks to feel comfortable, but i feel like i'm striking the ball much more solid now and getting the accuracy to go with it

Great start to the season! I have had a few lessons so far this year and tried to get as much practice in as possible. Also been working hard on alignment (so easy to get something so basic wrong) and strengthened my grip. It is all being put to the test on Sunday in the first medal with the course fully opened.
