My callaway edge hybrid is 21 degrees but they can be 19 or 20 depending on the make.

I'm absolutely delighted with the two Taylormade Superfast 2.0 hybrds that i've had off ebay recently - they seem to go for between £55-£80. There 3 rescue is 18deg and the 4 is 21 deg, which i believe, and as I think Adrian pointed out to me, 18deg is more like a 2 iron and 21deg like a 3 so be careful with what you end up with.
I'm not a big hitter but with both these i hit much further than i was expecting to able to.

Liam,
If you must use a hybrid be sure to consider the Cobra Balffler. Mine is r4 and 23 degrees. Many I tried were very closed at address and I could only hit low hooks with them. The Cobras sit nice and square and when struck well produce a lovely high and long soft landing ball flight - something that a player of my limited ability could never achieve with a long iron. I think you are young and supple so it might be better fo you long term to learn how to use your long irons properly,
regards, Michael.
