Tiger says the Tour is unfit.

Posted by: user14978 | Wed 15th Aug 2007 14:56 | Last Reply

I've got to agree with Tiger. I am normally buggered after 12 holes. Any tips for keeping the energy level going, and the concentration level intact?

Obviously, Tiger has a caddie, loads of time to get fit, and it's his life, but there must be a way that when 8 over after 12, I can finish at about 10 or 11 over.

Graham,

Eat plenty of carbs the night before, get a good nights sleep & take plenty of water & some fruit bars with you - on the food/health side.

As for other things you could try is

  • hire/buy an electric trolley.
  • switch off your mind in between shots.
  • don't dwell too much on a bad shot/hole.
John.

The modern trend of five hour rounds is the problem.

The EGU county golf finals entail two rounds a day for five days, that is ten rounds. Done it 16 times actually. Fousomes in the morning singles in the afternoon. Then usually nine holes in the evening for a few bob.
