Adding old round / wrong Stableford score.

Posted by: user46853 | Mon 13th Aug 2007 08:32 | Last Reply

Darren,

Hi. I deleted and re-added an old round & it seems to have calculated the Stableford points based on my current handicap rather than my handicap at the time. Its only one point but I need all I can get.

Thanks,

colin

Hi Colin.

When you add a round, or edit, the system will default the handicap to your current playing handicap.  This should show in the box labelled 'Strokes'

Basically the stroke input box allows you to enter the number of strokes you are playing the rounds with, which will not always be your handicap because you may play in a competition using 3/4 or 7/8 handicaps.

The stableford points are based on the strokes box but this doesn't affect you handicap.  The handicap is worked out independently.

Does this help/make sense ?

Regards,

Darren.
