Has anyone had any success with training aids? if so which particular ones?

I use a v-easy, it's a 3 in 1 training aid, I found it helps my putting stroke, http://www.v-easy.co.uk/

Alignment sticks... saves laying clubs down on damp grass.

I had a lesson a couple of weeks ago and the first thing the pro did was throw down some sticks to show just how awful my alignment was - just got some ordered, so will be on the range with them from next week

Just alignment sticks, poor alignment and you have problems before you even start swinging the club.

alignment sticks for me also, but also you can stick them in the ground to make sure your swinging your club on plane.

If you don't want to buy sticks take a long ruler & a piece of chalk with you to the range. Does the same job.
