What The Club Says

The new 'Oaks' golf course at Horsham Golf is nestled in the picturesque setting of Denne Hill, Horsham, West Sussex and will be available for limited use in November 2014 (9 holes) to our Members, new & old. Various categories of memberships will available in the summer of 2015 upon the arival of the full course layout, together with golf society days and pay & play access. Our practise facilities include a lit and heated covered 18 bay golf range with a dedicated coaching team under the watchful eye of the Mike Yorke Golf Academy, thus ensuring that we offer the full golfing package to visitors and members alike.

Interesting course. Short but plenty of character

1st time here and impressed. Thought it was going to be municiple but well maintained. Greens were true and quickish. Tees a little g=cut up in places oh and the rough....was knee high if you left the fairway by @ 3yrds. Lots of older trees and you need to plot your way around the course. Plenty of lateral ditches to capture you out and water. Short but sweet overall.

Great course, tricky front 5 lots of trees

Tricky front 5 lots of trees so need to be straight. Opens up thereafter until you get to the 17th which, although a short par 4, is difficult in my opinion despite it being SI 17!

Love this course…. I play the oaks regularly….the greens are always in very good condition…cakes in the clubhouse are pretty good too

First time round here. Nice course and good value at twilight rates. Interesting variety of holes and the first is a good opening par 5. Greens were decent. Little dry in places but unsurprising given current weather. Slightly odd finish with 2 par 3's and short par 4 in the final 3 holes. Had a decent pint post round prior to the bar closing.

My Local course

This is a wonderful in West Sussex….the course is in pretty good condition although the greens are a little slow….you definitely need to give it a go

Interesting course and even in wet weather the ground coped. Usually I have found it not too busy. Today however it was very full. To be expected on a Sunday, but as we came to 14th tee a three ball had already teed off and cut in. They were not very good players and also slow. What sort of Club etiquette allows this behaviour? It is unacceptable to cut in unless there is a clear hole gap (which there wasn’t) and you then keep up with the game in front (which they didn’t).

British Weather

Lots of rain previously and the course was closed yesterday. Buggies and Trolleys to path only which is fair enough. Course was in reasonable condition especially the greens. Looking forward to getting some sun soon.

Nice course

Good track, bit wet in places but in excellent condition considering the wet weather we have had

Considering the amount of rain we have had over the last year the course was in ok condition, they are/have done a lot of maintenance recently and it's helping.
