What the club says: Here at 'On Par' our aim is to provide Ely and the local area with great golfing facilities. We want to make the challenging and rewarding game of golf accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill.
Conveniently located on the outskirts of Ely, just off the A10 Ely Bypass, we offer a superb 16 Bay Floolit Driving Range with the latest Fully automated 'Powertees' a practice nunker, putting green and chipping area. A challenging 2000 yard, par 31, 9 hole Golf Course, with 4 par 4's from 236 to 352 yards, and 5 par 3's ranging in distance from 121yds to a challenging finishing 9th hole at 214yds.

A nice challenging course

Very Good Golf Course with Great Value for Money
Very friendly staff, The Course was in very good condition and played very well with plenty of challenges with doglegs, Fairway/general Bunkers, Lakes,ditches and mounds. It was a nice test of golf for a short but course with plenty of character!. Great course for all abilities and value for money!.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 39 Handicap: )

Great staff, very helpful and welcoming.
Beautiful place to have a round of golf if you just want a quick 9 holes or just a casual game. Members are also welcoming too.

Better than expected
I went in with low expectations and came away pleasantly surprised. Yes there are 5 par threes but there?s a couple of long ones in there, so it ain't a pitch and putt. Greens were rock hard so had to pitch it short and let it run on but plenty of hazards to make you think. Great course for a beginner, as not too much trouble down the sides of the fairways, but some really well placed ponds and bunkers protecting the greens. Used the range which was ok. Went round the course twice for ?16. Great value.Reviewer Rating

Friendly and welcoming for beginners
The course is challenging for beginners offering narrow fairways and well placed hazards. The fairways do seem relatively sparse and the grass was very dry. As per other comments, the sand in the bunkers is VERY thin and hard, resulting in tricky bunker play. The course is well designed, and offers a challenge to most.The staff are very pleasant and happy to help; the Driving range is relatively cheap at £5 for 60 balls although there are restrictions as to usage of Drivers and Woods on certain evenings due to the proximity to the local football and rugby clubs.
It's a cheap round for 9 holes (I paid £10) and well worth the money.

Fantastic 9 hole course, you have the different tees for the ladies, gents and competitions! The course is very well keeped, geens run lovely and the rough isn\'t too long so you don\'t loose to many balls. I throughly enjoyed my self today and what a lovely evening to play. The club house is nice and relaxed and the staff are lovely and friendly! Defiantly coming back to play again. They also have a perfect gravel area over looking the 9th to sit and have a drink at the end. Lovely couldn\'t have asked for better. ( played 14/07/2016. Handicap 28)

Worst course I have ever played. You can't use your driver or woods on the range on a weekend.. The tees are uneven and over grown with what grass there is on the Tees. The fairway and rough are mostly the same length... The bunkers are full of builders sand and soil.. greens are ok though... They need to close for a couple of weeks for some serious montane of the course.....

Nice little course, good for those just starting to play. Rough not too daunting, a few bunkers and water hazards but enough space to miss them! Young trees will grow to increase the challenge in a few years. Very nice way to spend a couple of hours.

The course has improved so much in the past year.. it had been through some big changes and is a good place to play if you are starting to get into the sport. The facilities are very good and the staff are great. Dont let the bad reviews put you off playing here..

The new building is great shows they've put alot of work into it since the fire last year, the greens have come along way since i first played and are much better than Ely City considering the amount of money that Ely city have to be able to play with.
Nicest Driving range i have been to in a long time and the staff are always helpful and nice. Nicest Golf Club i've visited and doesn't have any of the stigma that surrounds most golf clubs.

Terrible golf coarse. More like a building site as the ground is so hard and there is little grass to be seen anywhere!
Overpriced too in my opinion as you can go to Ely City golf coarse just up the road and play a full 18 holes for only £20 with a member so why pay £12 for a rubbish 9 here?
The driving range however is nice and serves its purpose well.
