If the old money in Halifax all belong to Ashburn then Granite Springs is where the new money goes. A very well maintained course close to Peggy's Cove. Great views of the ocean. Greens and fairways are immaculate- though the ground in the area is mostly rock so when it first opened anyone hitting fat would find they had chipped their club on the rocks under the turf! The club as been around a few more years now so that is no longer a problem. A little expensive, but probably the best course in the Halifax area. The drive out is quite nice as well on a winding road hugging the coast.
