Decent enough short course
A good course to sharpen up your pitching/chipping or to start off playing golf. Short straight holes but not without it's difficulty due to trees / bunkers and the rough that's around. Plus there are several range balls littered all over the course so keep an eye on yours as it's easy to misplace your shot. It gets busy and with golfers of all standards playing you will need your patience but we all had to learn somewhere.Reviewer Rating

Best 9 in Wales
Great course, played it regularly in its early days, so much improved recently due to the efforts of everyone behind the scenes. Thanks to this course I have got back into golf. The only thing that has gone backwards is the coffee, gone from brilliant filter coffee to a slow slow slow tasteless machine.

Decent enough short course
Easy to find and a decent sized car park. The club shop on our visit was a pleasant and friendly lady who answered all our queries perfectly. The course itself is a very easy walk with no hills but the course is anything but easy with well placed traps and uneven greens being tricky defences to cope with.
Great value for anyone wanting a quick knock or to get back into the swing after an injury. There is a driving range which seemed well used and explains all the range balls dotted around the course (especially the 9th alongside ).

Great course
An absolute little gem of a course, perfect for a beginner but also some testing holes for an accomplished golfer. The green-keepers do an amazing job, the course is well maintained & frequently aerated so drains well in wet weather. The buggies are an additional bonus. The 18 bay range is fantastic, very well lit in the evenings & sheltered so good in all weather.
The Golf Pro is an absolute master of the game, a true asset to the facility & highly recommended within the golfing profession.
Staff, especially the evening crew, are always very welcoming, positive & friendly. Overall it’s the best 9 hole golf course we’ve been to.

Short course, look after
Always welcome - busy at the moment. Course in good condition though. The 6th and 7th feel poorly laid out with too much potential for conflict between tee and green either end so are very unforgiving.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 82 Handicap: 16.8)

I will be playing there again
Really enjoyed playing at Bridgend Golf Complex. I have played golf for about 40 years on and off and have been as low as 3 Handicap. In recent years I have been suffering with a bad back and found BGC a good challenge which I could manage to walk around. Good mixture of short par 3's to long par 3's and a few par 4's. The people were very friendly and I will be playing there again in the near future. A fair and good test for all levels of ability.Reviewer Rating
