What The Club Says
A pretty parkland course, surrounded by mature woodland, with lush fairways and excellent greens watered from natural underground springs. The nine hole course is relatively short but very challenging, The course record is 67 - scored by Andy Francis. Created in 1970 and extended through a mature wood in 1987, the many natural springs have been tamed into water features which are home to a varierty of wildlife.

Birch Grove
Due to recent weather, the course wasn't at its best.The tees were a mix of mats & made up tees and the greens were treated with being spiked and loads of sand.
I'v played the course about a dozen times,it's short but tricky and in a month or so will be in good condition.
They have a homely clubhouse and very friendly staff and members, 4 of my friends are members at Birch Grove and if I lived nearer I would join.

Birch Grove
It's a pleasure to play there, the course is kept well & ideal for the more mature golfer.The course is not long but extremely interesting with all types of holes & hazards.
Cost for playing is excellent, I play with members & is only ?19 for 18 holes & only ?22 if not in the week & not much more at the weekend.
Very laid back & friendly vibe & I would join but live 45 mins away.

fantastic little 9 hole course
