What the club says: One of the best courses in the region, Golf de Saint-Lauren has hosted the French Professional Championship and the National Open on several occasions. The tree lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and multitude of lakes mean a high degree of accuracy is required around this first class course.

Easy booking, friendly pro shop service, excellent beer after. Tees, Greens and bunkers in excellent condition, fairways needed cutting (many white daisies making it unnecessarily difficult to find the ball). Many tree lined fairways, with fair rough making a good test.

Played course and was disappointed. I had booked on line for one person with buggy as my wife cannot now play but is happy to drive buggy. I also arranged lunch in the clubhouse for us. This was excellent. Despite having confirmation by e mail of my booking, I was told that I had to play as a two ball or would be charged for 2 players. I was not happy with this. At the appointed tee time nobody else turned up so I played as a one. During the round there was one group of 5 players. The course is not in too good a condition with some bare patches in the fairways near the green. I have to say that I have played on better courses for less money and I will not be going back

Enjoyment reduced by very many long Par 4's which are out of reach for the average club golfer. Also too many of the holes are very "samey". We will not be returning.
