What the club says: Designed by Harry Colt in 1928, this is hilly, tight course that is always named as one of France's top 50 courses. Laid out in woods overlooked by the imposing foothills of the Pyrennes, Chantaco is a good test of golf that has gained a favourable reputation. There are two distinct nines, with one carved through a forest fringed valley and the other dominated by many a water feature and the course has hosted the French Open along with other international events

Stunning
Wonderful course. Lush setting. Great views, back drops & not overly challenging but a great variety of holes & quick greens with plenty of tough pin positions. V enjoyable. Kitchen closing at 3 was a blow mind.Reviewer Rating

Very good, would highly recommend any golfer with any ability to play here. Challenging yet rewarding of the tee. Inviting approach shots. Fun greens.
