What the club says: St Omer Le Val (Aa-Saint-Omer Golf Club)
This course has played host to the French PGA championship on two occasions and has been widely praised for its superb conditioning, in particular its large, fast greens. 18 holes. Par 73. 6218 yards. Parkland.
St Omer La Haute Drève (Aa-Saint-Omer Golf Club)
This course has a shorter Par 31 layout, ideal for high handicappers and beginners or for those looking to sharpen up their game. 9 holes. Par 0. 2229 yards. Parkland.

Vets holiday at St Omer
Hotel good, if service a bit slow for large parties but otherwise nothing to fault. Golf course is very challenging and to say it is hilly is an extreme understatement! Yes, course is in very good condition including, fairways, greens and bunkers but several holes are difficult o work out if you've never played here before. I know that we were Veteran club golfers but 33 points won on day and 32 on day 2 with bona fide UK handicaps. (versus 37 won at Wimereux the day before). I found the greens average to slow versus high standard club greens. Don't even think about playing it without a buggy at 40 Euros. There are plenty of buggies. Clubhouse food good and price competitive with good service. We found the lady in the reception very friendly versus another comment. Only issue for us is the extreme gradients and tricky nature of some holes. Sadly we won't return. If you like a very hilly course you'll love it.Reviewer Rating

Nice course very hilly and on the day we played very very breezy.Course in decent condition.

The course is nice but has taken a battering from the bad weather, I would have it guess that it will take a good month or so before it has recovered properly. It is very hilly though and a cart or trolley are a must!

3rd year running and still as good as ever!
3rd year running we've played Saint Omer and this year was better than ever. Lady in the club shop was rude and unhelpful when I left a club on the course (she said nothing had been handed in but luckily one of the groups we had already crossed on the course and told me they'd handed in after 9). Would definitely suggest buddies as a lot of hilly walking.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 28)

Great course. Very hilly and plenty of blind holes makes it a good challenge if you don't know your way around. Clubhouse and facilities fairly basic but adequate.
