What the club says: The serenity and magnificent vista of the lordly river Shannon forms the backdrop to this prestigious and highly rated championship course. An excellent test for the great (and not so great), it has been played by many leading world professionals - Ballesteros, Faldo, Langer, Norman and Lora Fairclough amongst them. Strategically placed trees and bunkers combine with the wind from the Shannon Estuary to place a premium on the "shot selection". 6874 yards, Par 72.

Next to the Airport runway but still great!
This is a brilliant venue to visit when arriving or leaving Eire by plane. situated 5 minutes from the runways it is very well kept and conditioned. attractive parkland layout with an extremely friendly and warm welcome to the visiting golfer. the Pro shop were brilliant when faced with clubs that had been misplaced by the airline. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 102 Handicap: 18.1)

good test - just finished before dark - although a shame that play was slow - would play again

For a golf club so close to the airport, this is surprisingly good and well worth a round, being just 5 minutes drive from the airport. Very well looked after course and a good test. Lots of trees to avoid, very little water. Clubhouse smart. Guinness good!
