What the club says: Welcome to Castleknock Golf Club, Dublin's newest golf facility. Opened in 2005, it has already achieved a ranking in Ireland’s top 100 golf courses (Golf Digest Magazine). Adjacent to the Phoenix Park and the River Liffey and framed by mature deciduous woodlands, we have sought to provide the highest quality golf experience to go with the setting.

Cracking course

A fantastic manicured course with superb greens (the best that I have played in over 100 games of golf in 2014, throughout many courses in Ireland and one or two overseas). These fantastic greens didn't make it any easier and it took us a while to realise that the greens had not held the water from the previous evenings heavy rain and consequently were reasonably quick. One should play this course if you have half a chance! Good clubhouse with a strong social feeling in the bar/restaurant. Seán

Great place and fantastic facilities, The course itself was in pristine condition with superb fairways and excellent greens, a good mixture of long and short par fours some tough par threes and genuine 3 shot par fives. No hole was the same and a great finish on front and back nine with par 3s over water to a massive double green. Paid 35 euros during the week but there are offers about but still thought that was good value for such a great course. Played late May 2014 H'cap 9

I found this course excellant. The greens are superb, the layout is demanding, some short par fours, but the right club is essential. I thoroughly enjoyed my round.
