This was a wet day in Castlemartyr with some fairways, much rough and many walkways wet underfoot but quiet a few fairways bone dry (obviously reflecting heavy investment in drainage on some holes). This is a lovely course and I’d like to play in the dry weather. Good dry fast greens. A big investment on the whole complex on day 1, I imagine and I will be back.(Round played: Nov 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 21.9)

Reviewed Sep 27 2015 by Ian H - rated 3 out of 5 overall ok, it's an inland links style course but if you travel to ireland to play links golf better to go to the coast and play a real links course. The practice facilities are a bit limited with only nets and a putting green. The guys in the proshop were friendly. We played on a saturday morning when there seemed to be plenty of locals who all moved along at a good pace, so we got round in 3.5 hours
