What the club says: Wellington undoubtedly has the finest golf course of any school in the country. It is cut into the woods and has some truly beautiful but difficult holes. It is accompanied by driving range nets, a pitching area and a putting green. The facility is solely for school use.
The standard of Golf at Wellington is of the highest order and the team has won the Gerald Micklem trophy on numerous occasions in recent years as well as making significant progress in the HMC Foursomes.

Good course and condition especially with recent bad weather - looks very good and there is evidence that more good work is being done to improve it

Not a very long course but boy is it challenging. Not always wise to use a driver. If you get into the heather....maybe dont even bother looking for you ball. Although this is only a 9 holes course which you play twice from the same tees one would think that you would learn your lesson from the first 9...be careful...you dont.
As a very public school this is a great course and I envy the pupils who get to play this every day !!!!!
