What The Club Says
Gatton Manor offers a mature 18 hole woodland course, established in the late 1960s. At 6,600 yards the challenging course is championship length, the work of renowned Canadian golf architect, Commander John D Harris. No two holes are alike and the Commander has made imaginative use of streams, lakes, and tree-lined fairways.

This is the second time I have played Gatton Manor this summer and the condition compares very favourably with all others I have played in Surrey. Despite the very dry conditions, it has good grass coverage on the fairways, albeit yellow, but this means you can hit good iron shots and take divots. The greens have been well watered and kept in a nice, soft condition, bunkers and good to play out of; the only complaint would be the tees have not been watered like the greens. But for a course that is earmarked to close it's in great condition.It is such a shame a shame that this course is going to close. It is one of the most exciting, interesting and challenging layouts I have played and the fact that such a quality design is going to be lost of a real shame. I hope the hotel owners reconsider,

Great Society Golf Club
We booked a society golf day at Gatton Manor.Great customer service received by both Sam and Tina.
Unfortunately I had change quite of fews things around on the lead up to the event. Hats off to Sam for being very understanding in sorting out food and refunds ect! Very professional and prompt ????
We recieved a great welcome with coffe and bacon rolls on the ready.
The course was amazing and we will definitely be coming back.
Hopefully i shall be a bit more organised next time ????

Wonderful course

Duffer mc dufster
I have to say this is my new favourite course. So much character and variety. As a mid handicapper it is tougher than most I play. Hit it offline and you will be punished. Love the start. Longish par 4, par 3 on a slope and a challenging and tactical par 4. Each hole feels individual and in good nick. If I lived close would join. Feels like a bit of a hidden gem and has so much potential. Also friendly welcome. Very highly recommended.Reviewer Rating
