Wentworth is.....well, Wentworth. The inspiration and aspiration of all other sporting venues. Its golfing reputation is unmatched, created out of the magic and memorable moments during decades of titanic struggles between the games greats. There are three 18 holes courses and a 9-hole exceutive course.

As good as you would expect
The West Course at Wentworth - home of the PGA Championship in Europe - is as good as you would expect and hope. Beautifully tranquil and picturesque, it is great on the eye. Lots of subtle doglegs and elevation changes. It is long off the white tees and played all of the 7000 yards when I played it as it was rained very heavily overnight. The sub-air system ensured the greens were first class, pure and very fast. One of the most impressive heathland/ parkland courses in the UK. As good as it said on the tin.Reviewer Rating
