What the club says: At a shade over 6100 yards, Tyneside may not be the longest course in the area but it is certainly considered by many to be a stern test and one of the premier courses in the North East.

gem of the TyneTyneside is a tremendous golf course with many panoramic views. Every hole offers golfers a different challenge which has to be embraced. The greens are always in superb condition which gives confidence when putting. Although not overly long accuracy is paramount in order to ensure a decent score. It is justly regarded as one of the finest parkland courses in the north-east. A must-visit experience!
gem of a courseTyneside is a tremendous golf course with well-kept greens. Every hole is a different challenge which will appeal to golfers of all abilities. It is not overly long but accuracy is paramount on every tee. There are a good mixture of elevated tees and blind shots which demand accuracy. The clubhouse is traditional and well-established with a proud history. Overall a superb golfing experience-one not to be missed.

Lovely course, warm welcome.I really enjoyed playing this course and will be playing it again next spring. The greens had recently been worked on and the weather had been really wet in the weeks leading up to our game, but it was still in great condition and I am looking forward to our spring visit.
