What the club says: At a shade over 6100 yards, Tyneside may not be the longest course in the area but it is certainly considered by many to be a stern test and one of the premier courses in the North East.

little gem
tyneside is a well kept golf coursewith superb greens which are always in excellent condition whatever the weather. Every hole presents a different challenge. There is a good mixture of par3s , 4s and two par5s which will test the abilities of golfers of all handicaps.Although not a long course accuracy off the tee is vital to obtaining a good score. The signature hole, The Coffin, is a tremendous challenge of accuracy and nerve and can be a real card wrecker. All in all, a great golf course!with superb greens which are always in excellent condition whatever the weather.

Fantastic course worth visiting
Outstanding course and well worth a visit. Greens and fairways superb, However bunkers weren't the best but under COVID 19 restrictions could have been a lot worse. Once COVID gets to some kind of normality bunkers "will" be outstanding.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 78 Handicap: 5.6)

Great Course

The greens are always in superb condition which gives confidence when putting. Although not overly long accuracy is paramount in order to ensure a decent score. It is justly regarded as one of the finest parkland courses in the north-east. A must-visit experience!

gem of a course
Tyneside is a tremendous golf course with well-kept greens. Every hole is a different challenge which will appeal to golfers of all abilities. It is not overly long but accuracy is paramount on every tee. There are a good mixture of elevated tees and blind shots which demand accuracy. The clubhouse is traditional and well-established with a proud history. Overall a superb golfing experience-one not to be missed.
