Lovely course

The course was in excellent condition especially the greens. Few divot marks which had been left unrepairable by some uneducated golfers and can't blame the golf course for. Great views from the course and the clubhouse and welcome were tip top too. Overall nothing to complain about and will definitely be playing there again

Lovely Course

We came last winter and had to abandon our round, due to the rain and wind. But we liked the layout, and wanted to return when the weather was better. We returned on a beautiful sunny day, and we absolutely loved this course. It is really well laid out, and when the new clubhouse is finished it will be superb. One minor criticism, a few more directional markers would help. This was our first full round here, and twice members of our group manage to find the green only to discover it wasn't the green for the hole we were playing.
We will be back.

A little smasher!!

Played here for first time on Sunday following an overnight and morning deluge of rain
Despite that this mixture of moorland and parkland was in excellent condition. The course would be a challenging walk (we managed to hire a buggy) but would be worth it. Excellent fairways and greens. Very helpful pro shop with some guidance of the course and welcoming members who we exchanged banter with during and after the round. Recommended.

Absolute Cracker

What a superb golf course, from first to last it was excellent.
The shop were great, the locals were friendly & polite & even one of the green keepers said hello!
Add all that to a superb heath land golf course with amazing views & you've got a great experience.
The course is superb, no hole is the same with loads of slopes, valleys & hills. The greens were the best I've seen this year, kudos to the locals (& kudos to Craigers) as there were hardly any pitch marks. Look out if you get a downhill putt, the slightest touch can have your ball steaming past the hole & even off the green.
What's even more remarkable is that it rained pretty much all day the day before & yet you wouldn't have known looking at the course condition.
In summary an absolute cracker

tough course and physically challenging

A real challenge with fast and difficult greens. Local knowledge would help as some of the fairways and greens are totally blind. Still worth a return visit.

Fairways a little too firm but that's a personal preference, made it a little difficult around the greens.

Great Challenge

We play this course regularly and still it’s a very interesting. No two holes are the same with a variety of challenges, plus you rarely get a flat lie. Added to this are the fabulous views especially from the higher part of the course.

Wonderful golf course

Straight from the off, you're challenged by a fantastic looking golf course. The views the whole way round are amazing and the course more than matches those stunning views. A very challenging course with lots of blind tee shots, but unlike many courses, the black and white marker posts actually correspond to where you need to hit your tee shot. Mind you err and you can find yourself in a whole heap of trouble. My first visit to this fabulous and very welcoming club, but it won't be my last. All round a fantastic days golf.
A huge pat on their back, for all who work hard to make it such a great place to play golf.
