What The Club Says
The golf course is situated by the sea on the west coast of Cumbria with views of St. Bees head, the Isle of Man & the Lakeland fells. It is 5,307 yards in length, a hilly course with small greens and for those that stray too far, thick rough awaits them. We have been described as the hidden jewel of West Cumbria. Played in 35mph winds so it was a real test, some great holes, the 3rd is probably the best and hardest hole on the course, it's a hard par 4 played in to the wind over the brow of a hill then down towards the sea. Thoroughly enjoyable course and great value, I will definitely be playing again. (Round played: Aug 2015 - Score: 82 Handicap: 16.7)
