What The Club Says

The golf course is situated by the sea on the west coast of Cumbria with views of St. Bees head, the Isle of Man & the Lakeland fells. It is 5,307 yards in length, a hilly course with small greens and for those that stray too far, thick rough awaits them. We have been described as the hidden jewel of West Cumbria. Excellent condition

An excellent little course with stunning scenery. Greens as good as anywhere. Well maintained fairways and bunkers.

Tees, greens and fairways all needed a good cut! Greens were very slow and littered with worm casts. Signposting on the course to next tee needed, as some of the tees were hard to find.

Probably the greenest golf course in the country currently.

Played in 35mph winds so it was a real test, some great holes, the 3rd is probably the best and hardest hole on the course, it's a hard par 4 played in to the wind over the brow of a hill then down towards the sea. Thoroughly enjoyable course and great value, I will definitely be playing again. (Round played: Aug 2015 - Score: 82 Handicap: 16.7)

Course in great condition. Greens on top form. Firm fairways despite heavy rain and unlike a lot of courses played recently perfect bunkers.
