What the club says: The club was founded in 1993, on the estate of the popular Southwell Racecourse, some 2 miles from Southwell and 5 miles from the market town of Newark. The front nine holes are located in the centre of the racecourse and features our signature hole, the 7th, a straightforward par 3 - as long as you ignore the water between the tee and the island green - our equivalent to the 17th at Sawgrass!!!

- Sep 24 2015Southwell golf course is a good course for all handicaps. It has plenty of water traps just at the right distance. you need to think on most holes before driving and do not overhit the greens or there is a good chance yu will be in trouble
