What The Club Says
Silverstone Golf Club was established in 1992 and has established itself as a beautiful well maintained course.
During the last few years the course has undergone extensive improvements, resulting in a very challenging par 72 parkland course with free draining all year round greens and well built tees.
It is situated opposite the world famous Grand Prix Motor Racing Circuit on the Bucks/ Northants border close to the towns of Towcester, Brackley & Buckingham and is surrounded by woodland.

Love it
My friend and I absolutely love the whole vibe, such a great course, well kept, friendly atmosphere and always made to feel welcome even though we are visitors.We have courses that are more local to us and we travel for about half an hour to get there but it's worth every minute, we've played here a few times and we agree that it's the best course we have played, it's such a great day out playing golf on a beautiful course. We hope to have our first game of the year in a couple of weeks and we can't wait to get back out on the course again.

Inter-club match
I played here in 2023 and back again yesterday 28/8/2025 both in Inter-club matches. The course was in great condidion especially given the drought like weather we've had. Ironically it started to rain on the 17th hole!It is probably a little too long for me as I approach 70 years old but it was great fun nonetheless.
The layout is great, the welcome was very friendly, the facilities are good, the food superb.
I struggled a little on the greens as I struggled to read the breaks and get the pace of them as well. My fault and not the greens which were excellent.

Nice course, some tricky holes!
