What The Club Says
Founded in 1907, Selby Golf Club are one of Yorkshire's oldest established clubs, set on raised land among the farmland of North Yorkshire.
Selby Golf Club is a beautiful par 71 course, built on sand-based, well drained land, making the course playable all year round. Its tree-lined fairways are well-bunkered with an abundance of gorse and natural hazards.

A very windy but dry day. The course was in great condition, greens were bumpy but still good for the time of year. A nice course and enjoyable day.Reviewer Rating

Great selection of holes if you play well you can score well probably suits the mid handicap golfer because there is enough trouble if you are wayward.

Fantastic, well kept course !
A new course for me and my golfing colleagues and we loved it. As you drive in you see the 1907 signage and you generally never get a bad course which is over 100 years old and we weren't disappointed. Greens in lovely condition, lush fairways and some challenging holes. Practice facilities were completely adequate and I found the greens to be pretty slow, which I personally really like. We were hosted by Mal, a member there who is in our golf society and he gave us some great tips on each hole. Give or take a few wayward shots I managed to have a decent round of 80 and would love to go back and try and beat that. We enjoyed table service food and drinks outside afterwards which were lovely. Certainly a course which should be on any decent golfers list to play if they live this way on.Reviewer Rating
