Mr
It’s a very good golf track but slow greens and fairways which are very wet with no run not my preferred golf. Would not recommend to anyone who is looking for a better than average experience.6hc

Played in summer & November food was good and the hospitality of members was excellent. Afraid the course has deteriorated over the last few years the general cut on both greens and fairways was disappointing.Reviewer Rating

Only real downside was the assistant pro. Whilst conducting a lesson he decided to cut in front of us and allow his student to practice approach shots therefore holding everyone up, it's not even like we were waiting on a tee, we were half way up the fairway approaching the par 5 green when he did it. The etiquette on show from an apparent professional was quite frankly unacceptable, the student deserves much better.

Great condition for time of year
Great little course, because its sand based it was in fantastic condition, greens were still quick and cut well. Not the most difficult track though, no real trouble off th tee.Nice club house too

A very windy but dry day. The course was in great condition, greens were bumpy but still good for the time of year. A nice course and enjoyable day.Reviewer Rating

Great selection of holes if you play well you can score well probably suits the mid handicap golfer because there is enough trouble if you are wayward.

Fantastic, well kept course !
A new course for me and my golfing colleagues and we loved it. As you drive in you see the 1907 signage and you generally never get a bad course which is over 100 years old and we weren't disappointed. Greens in lovely condition, lush fairways and some challenging holes. Practice facilities were completely adequate and I found the greens to be pretty slow, which I personally really like. We were hosted by Mal, a member there who is in our golf society and he gave us some great tips on each hole. Give or take a few wayward shots I managed to have a decent round of 80 and would love to go back and try and beat that. We enjoyed table service food and drinks outside afterwards which were lovely. Certainly a course which should be on any decent golfers list to play if they live this way on.Reviewer Rating

Great course all year round
This course isn't the most difficult challenge that you'll ever face but it's still a good test. The main attraction here is the modern thinking approach to running the club (mostly) and the impressive drainage which allows play on the main greens for large parts of the year.
