In poor condition for June
Nice greeting in Pro ShopCourse - fairways covered in daisies, greens dreadful and was like putting on moguls.
3 putts heading straight for the centre suddenly bounced off in other directions and you couldn’t trust a line for toffee!
The course has lots of ditches and semi rough appearing in the middle of what you think is the fairway, making decent shots, suddenly seem poor ones.
Not a fan!

Avoid in winter
Friendly folk here, lovely views and some interesting and challenging holes. But it's a complete mud bath. Hadn't rained for several days when we played but ball was plugging on fairways, completely covered in mud even on higher holes. Winter tee mats in use, greens OK. They clearly have a drainage problem as you can see the ditches being dug to help with it, but I would only pay to play this course in May-Sept as it was a muddy slog in the AutumnReviewer Rating

Course in poor condition, tee boxes rough and backed up on the tees. At one point we had three groups waiting. So no marshals and or too close tee times. When I complained, the Pro Shop said they weren't members, irrelevant. No apology or other.Reviewer Rating

Golf day ruined
Played today the course was disgusting by far the worse kept course I have ever played. From tee to greens was a major disappointment.Greens had a ring of bare mud round the perimeter. We was a group of 8 we complained in the pro shop and the staff had the audacity to defend this absolute dump of a golf course. And I use the term golf course really loosely.Reviewer Rating

Tricky!
A beautiful course and in fairly good condition considering the wet weather. Quite hilly and a lot of blind tee shots over crests - it's a course that needs playing a few times to understand where to be aiming (or a helpful member to try to explain).Reviewer Rating

Every Tee was like teeing off in a mud bath! Tees should have been moved to a better position! There was plenty of alternativesVery dangerous! A lot of blind shots and only 1 warning Bell noticed!

Glad to have played but…
Plenty of trees & tight lines to open fairways but the ground still rock hard & so difficult to hold it on. Plays tough for 1st time to this course with plenty of hidden delights. Greens were fair but slow especially comparing to the fast fairways & aprons. Tee boxes were seriously worn & could do with attention but will treat the course much more discerningly next timeReviewer Rating

Challenging
Thought the course was quite a challenge would advise anyone who has not played to purchase a course planner as lots of blind holes so quite tricky to plot your way round.Would help if there was hole layouts on the tees.Overall the pro shop and staff were very friendly and helpful, warning note we had some grumbling members behind who although never quite caught up on the tee thought it was a god given right to let them through. We did let one group through but as mentioned earlier it is quite tricky when you are new to a course to plot your way round.Reviewer Rating
