Massive improvements on the course and the clubhouse in the last few years. Yardage increased, drainage improved, a lot of gorse removed, range facilities and parking improved, and a huge new patio area built at the front of the clubhouse. A very popular gym doubled in size and a dinosaur crazy golf added to attract the kids. Did I mention the clubhouse menus? https://www.mountgolfandcountryclub.co.u

Nice flat course in good condition

Seemed to have improved the course a little since the last time. Cut down a fair few trees and the quality of the ground at present is superb. Very dry, no mud. Always found it a bit challenging length wise but managing to get round it well today. Nice little clubhouse there and good facilities. Will be back again soon for another match.Good prices too at the mo'.

Interesting, flat course in great condition

Pro shop staff very helpful and efficient. Course is very flat, but some challenging holes, with ditches popping up to catch you out. We had a rainy day, but condition of the fairways was good and greens excellent. Thoroughly recommend

Well maintained course. Good practice area. It's very flat, but by no means easy/straightforward. It's good challenge for all levels. I enjoy playing here and am considering a membership. I spent some time in the shop and was able to test a few putters on the practice area. This helped me pick the right club for me and I really appreciated the customer service and mini putting tutorial

Still a lot of slow play

The course was in quite good condition although stray slightly off the fairways and the rough was very unforgiving. Covid encouraged a lot of people to take up the game which is great but unfortunately etiquette has gone out of the window with these new players and a 4 ball in front of us wouldn't call us through meaning we were kept waiting on the tees on numerous times. Not having played for a few weeks meant that I was glad to be out on the course but this was somewhat spoiled by the slow play. Happens each time I have played this course

Disappointed that, as with other clubs there is no prior warning that there is major maintenance work being undertaken on the greens making them unplayable. Should a reduced green fee not appropriate?
