What the club says: Old Head, par 72, comprises five Par 5s, five Par 3s and eight Par 4s – stretching to over 7,200 yards from the tips, with a minimum of six tees per hole. Nine holes play along the cliff tops, and all eighteen holes provide stunning ocean views. With the ever-changing sea breezes, the course provides a stern test to the touring pro and the high handicapper alike.

The most difficult course I've ever played by some distance. The day I played, it was playing a 3-4 clubs longer in the wind. Spectacular views, but I wouldn't go there again, my golf is nowhere good enough and it costs about 400 euros pp.

An amazing experience

Heaven on Earth
This a a wonderful course that should be on every tourists itinerary for their trip. The course is in line with whet we expect .....a tourists paradise. The greens need hitting but you will love it. Fine weather a huge bonus. Expensive but you won’t mind paying for quality. Bring your camera!!!(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: 22.6)

Amazing Course
An absolute amazing course that every golfer should play. Very scenic, the back 9 holes are the most challenging. The service provided in the whole is exceptional.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 19.6)

An astonishing course on the most westerly part of Cork. The conditions were extremely difficult and we all struggled especially along the cliff ends. Visita was fantastic. Staff very friendly and showed appreciation for our business. One to add to your bucket list!!!!!

This is one of the most beautiful courses I've ever seen. The water views are breathtaking. The course itself is beautifully maintained and the facilities are excellent.

Spectacular - but you must try to play on a good weather day. Unplayable half the time we were there - 60 mph hailstorms in mid summer. Clubhouse very over priced due to remote location. A real one off experience.
