What The Club Says
This traditional Scottish golf links course was created from a wilderness of whins and heather and tests the talents of professional and amateur alike. Founded in 1887 and added to and extended by Archie Simpson, Old Tom Morris and James Braid, it is now one of the best courses in Scotland. It is regularly chosen for national championships, including the Scottish Amateur, Scottish Professional and in 1994 hosted the "Blue Riband" of the Amateur Calender, the "Amateur" Championship. Nairn has also successfully hosted the 37th Walker Cup in September 1999. The magnificent new clubhouse that was built in 1990 is the envy of many and adds to the pleasure of playing at Nairn.

Fantastic links course
Played as an Open is great value, otherwise a little steep for me. Americans seem to love playing at that price. Excellent condition though. Everything from Course, Practise facilities & the clubhouse are first class.Reviewer Rating

Best Course in the Highlands
Personally I rate this higher than Dornoch and would consider this the best course in the highlands. Although I may be a little biased with this being my home course as a junior. Stunning condition and views always, traditional challenging links that you need to think your way around. Fees are substantially higher than in the past so maybe not the best value and likely more of a bucket list round.Reviewer Rating

Glorious setting for a lovely course
I'm amazed we haven't visited this course before (having been playing regularly on the Moray coast for some 20+ years now). Beautiful lush fairways and excellent greens and a very comprehensive pre-round briefing from the starter made this a round to remember and we will certainly return(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 101 Handicap: 18.9)

A gem of a course
This course was a revelation. An absolutely fantastic golf course this would be one of my all time favourite courses ever. The welcome of everyone at this club was superb we were treated brilliantly by pro, bar staff, waiting staff and stater. Cannot recommend this gem of a links course more highly. Some truly memorable holes that I will talk about for a long time.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 16.7)

Very friendly members, great course although tough to play for the first time, with certain holes/greens, but good condition. Look forward to playing again in the future. I don't think the cost of the round is a fair price to pay for this course, especially when comparing it to Castle Stuart. None of the little touches were visible and the staff in the bar area were a little sensitive to foreign travelers we had in the group!
