What the club says: Situated on the shores of the Moray Firth, the Nairn Dunbar golf course, founded in 1899, is a highly rated Scottish links championship course representing a formidable challenge with its gorse lined fairways. In 1999 for the Northern Open Professional Championship, the Scottish Ladies Amateur Stroke Play and the Scottish Boys Stroke Play. In 2001 the club hosted the Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship (qualifying rounds) and in 2002 the Seniors Home Internationals and the Scottish Open Amateur Mixed Tournaments.

Lovely links/parkland type course inland from the sea played in very windy conditions nevertheless very enjoyable course. It’s in transition at the moment to reduce trees and make it more like a true links.

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. We were told to go to the bar for our good and the staff and meal was perfect. I would really recommend this club to anyone thinking about playing here.

Fabulous course - really friendly both in the clubhouse and in the pro shop. Real links golf!!! Happy days - even though the weather was looking grim on the 1st it cleared until the 18th and we had a fabulous round. Would definitely recommend

A fantastic Championship links course with an amaZing setting, friendly staff in the cub house, the pro shop and out on the course, full credit to themselves and the club. Each hole has its unique challenges along the fairways and on the greens, you take your chances, fantastic and pleased to be a member again.
