What The Club Says
The Course is an 18 hole golf course, with nine holes links and nine holes parkland. The total yardage is 5982, with a par of 70. Situated on Cumbria's Solway coast, along the B5300 approximately 1 mile north of Maryport, it enjoys fabulous views across the Solway Firth, with panoramic views of the Scottish coastline and the Lake District Fells. Visitors are always welcome at Maryport Golf Club. Whilst relatively short, the course offers a stern challenge to golfers of all standards. The coastal winds make holes played into head winds particularly challenging, and can turn the first 2 par 4's off 400+ yards into par 5's.
The clubs reputation continues to flourish. Since hosting the Mens County Championships, we have hosted the Mens Senior County Championships, Ladies County events, and County Matches. In 2026 we are hosting the Ladies County Event and the Mens Matchplay Championships, and in 2027 we have been asked to host the Ladies County Vets Championship. We are proud to be a club of choice for such prestigious events.

Summer Morning
Had the course to myself , stunning views and the greens would rival any big name course . Some really great fun holes some ones similar but for the price, views and conditions couldnt score it high enoughReviewer Rating
