What The Club Says
First built around the family home in 1890, the original Harry Vardon golf course has since been sympathetically re-designed by Jack Nicklaus II to present an unforgettable course. With its cleverly sited trees and several picturesque water hazards, the course at Hanbury offers a true challenge to anyone who enjoys their golf. It is a PGA European Tour venue, has played host to many important championships, and has been a regular venue for the English Open. There can be few greater golfing rewards than a good round on the 6,678 yard championship course.

Great Weekend Getaway
The course to me never matched the grandeur of the hotel and clubhouse but it seems like the are addressing that now and the course is beginning to look more in keeping with the expectations you conjure up as you drive in.I was particularly impressed with the greens however I did not played my best I never seems to at this venue but none the less I enjoyed my round and the company that i was with.
