What the club says: Market Rasen Golf Club has one of the most attractive and beautiful courses in the county. Although not too long, the pine tree lined fairways are narrow and numerous water hazards make it a good test of golf for players of all standards.

This is an attractive course where the team continue to assess and improve the layout. It offers a challenge and variety whilst also giving higher handicappers a chance to do well.

The parkland layout is beautiful and quite tricky to play, but it's definitely worth the effort. The greens were in great condition and were very picturesque. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, and the pro shop was reasonably priced and well laid out. All in all, it was good value for money.

Beautiful parkland course, quite tricky to play well but worth the effort for the scenic layout alone. Great hospitality too.

Great course! Greens were in great condition. Tree lined fairways which will punish a wayward tee shot.
Would defiantly recommend it and you can see why it was one of 2 golf monthly hidden gems in East Midlands

Course in very good condition. Some holes very tight with trees and dykes. Some challenging holes but very enjoyable to play. Practice facilities good with driving range and chipping putting green and a putting green

Friendly golf club
Nice course with some interesting holes and in decent condition considering it was mid March when we played. Some tricky approach shots to greens. The final two holes are a little odd in layout, maybe because of the proximity of the racecourse but overall, an enjoyable round of golf. Likely to be better than 7/10 in summer when the fairways have had time to recover.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic Course
Often ignored, a beautiful Lincolnshire course. Challenging with many interesting holes throughout. The River Rase runs through the back 9 which adds to the charm.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: )

Top golf course the general layout has improved massively in last few years,the amount people playing mkt rasen is there for all to see.

Great course. Have to plot your way around in order to score well. Greens are in fantastic condition. Bunkers could do with more sand and there are a couple trees which be trimmed back to allow shots to be executed fairly. Second best course in Lincolnshire and certainly best value for money. Will be back again soon to play this fun course

Proper golf course
Played this course in February and the course had tAken a lot of rain.6 temps but the course was very testing and well worth a visit.without doubt we are coming back in summer as the layout and holes are top class. The pro was very helpful and allowed buggies despite the ground condition. The food and catering staff were very friendly and the choice of steak pie or curry went down well(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 22.2)

Hidden Gem
Travelled an hour from Doncaster to play a round and loved it ,the course was in great condition with true greens ,lush fairways and well looked after tee boxes.The course isn't long so you will have to plot your way round and with a lot of memorable holes .Overall a very friendly place and I cant wait to play again.Reviewer Rating

I played at Market Rasen with 3 friends,we were told that we would enjoy it and were given details of the course from some other friends.We were not disappointed ,we were met by the Pro who was great he sorted out a tee time and then we had a great round on a great course. To top it all the beer was good and food spot on.We were very impressed and have booked for the next open.You need to visit and I can assure you of a great welcome and course.

A tough course that I played for the first time last year in an Open competition. It is quite short and accuracy is prized over distance. Will be returning this year for the Open. Tight course with some great holes, the stroke index 1 is excellent and with the pin on the left side you can't have a go at it

I played at Market Rasen yesterday and it has been some time since I last visited. I was really impressed the course was great,greens had work done but its early April. Had a really good day friendly club,good food and a great course.Thanks I will be back.

I along with 3 friends plaeyd the course on Sunday for the first time,we had a really great day.The course was in good condition and well set out and tidy.The tree lined fairways give the course a great look.The greens were good for the time of year.We will be back in the summer months for sue.

I visited on a group winter deal with a few friends and we had had a great day,the weather was not special but the course was very good for the time of year.We had a beer and food after and great value.Will be back.
