potentially very good course spopiled by poor and sometimes VERY poor maintenance. At the moment the rough is ridiculous it is so high. It looks like it has just been abandoned. I could not recommend this course to anyone in it's present state, which is a terrible pity as when well maintained it is a gem

potentially a really nice course. It's a municipal course and run by Cork City council. Sadly, no evidence of any pride in the maintenance of the course and one has the impression of what might be. Has the potential to be a real gem, but is just not looked after well, and is really shabby in many aspects. Huge pity as this place has real potential.

Course was in fantastic condition with the greens extremely good. Views over bay great with the 11th hole brilliant fun, teeing up over the sea.

This fine parkland is set on the backdrop of Lough Mahon. With many dynamic views, banks and sloves. It is nvery much advised to bring a caddycar with you, they can be rented though in the clubshop. Although the 5th is the Index 1. Other holes to watch out for are the 7th,11th, and 16th. Best advised not to play after rain though aas the course, espically the rough can get waterlogged.
