What The Club Says
The Notleys 18 hole course winds back and forth across the river Brain. With strategically placed bunkers and water hazards making for a great challenging game. It is a beautiful, 18 hole, undulating course with natural water hazards from the River Brain.

Good value
In a time where courses seem to be charging about ?40-50 for a decent course this place offers good value. I've always liked playing here. The staff are friendly, as are the members. I like the layout of the course. In recent years they've invested in winter mats (some of the best I've played on, and they should get all 18 to use these mats in the wetter months), new bells, one person mobility scooter/golf carts and other revenue streams. The layout of the course is good. Some areas could be better kept, but can see improvements over the last few years for sure. Would happily go back. Tee boxes are very worn and the greens can are a bobbly in places. Due to the price, it gets over booked and can mean very slow rounds.Reviewer Rating

Good course for the price
Nice course, lots of birdie and par opportunities with a lot of short par 4s, some steep hills which add to the difficulty in choosing your shotsReviewer Rating

Terrible golf course and owners, google reviews are not accurate. The owner does not keep the course in good condition and is exceptionally rude.Reviewer Rating

Rough and Ready
A challenging course that is very rough around the edges. Many of the holes feel the same. They are often drive down to a stream and hit back the other side or they are drive over some type of hazard about 100 yards away and then play straight on.
So the challenge is fine to start with but then becomes a bit tiresome and monotonous.
The course condition was okay especially as the cost of the round was pretty cheap.
Biggest issues with course were overgrown bunkers with no sand and the fairways consisted of as much weed as they did grass.
The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly but again the vicinity of it was pretty shabby and in need of TLC.
Overall the course was tough physically and mentally and this wasn’t helped by the fact it could be better maintained.
But for the cost it did the job although it is the sort of place you might want to pay extra for a buggy.
