What the club says: Lochwinnoch Golf Club is situated in the rolling Renfrewshire countryside. A golfing challenge to those of all levels. The course is situated just a few miles west of Glasgow Airport and in easy reach of some of the worlds finest Golf Courses - Royal Troon, Loch Lomond & Gleneagles to name but a few.

Bought a groupon voucher for this course. Played this weekend with my Father in law.
Course is good although does need some signage up as we got lost two or three times. Greens not too fast but played true. Some great signature holes at this course. Can be hilly at times which is to be expected. Some holes need work in terms of placement as they play blind and the landing areas are very small. Fairways and greens are well maintained, no divots or pitch marks.
Gerry the pro in the shop was a great help. Staff at the bar and the members we met were all very welcoming, no snobbery.
I would recommend this course as it is a test and overall we enjoyed it.

Myself and three friends purchased a Groupon for this course. We called up to book our desired tee time but found we were heavily restricted to the point where it was impossible for us to get a viable tee off time. Nothing on the terms and conditions stated this before purchase. Daylight robbery. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!

Played this course today 5th aug 2011,and my only gripe would be the very steep hilliness .(If youre superfit youll be fine ,i am not lol)Therefore this is only a personal opinion and should not be taken as reason not to try this course.On the plus sides of which greatly out weigh the hills .The greens and fairways are top notch.Then you get to the clubhouse where the food ,service and amenities are first class . Very friendly and welcoming.All in all a great day out albeit ill be a bit sore in the morning lol. D lyle 5th aug 2011
